EDMOND MELLINA
WORKSHOP LEAD & CHANGE MASTER
Written by Pascal Karsenty – Managing Partner at Elliot Jaxx
I’ve met Edmond in Toronto in 2002 at a mutual client. My good buddy Moe Poirier and I, got to observe Edmond in action for two days as he was leading a workshop on change management. An hour into observing this guy, our jaws were dropped and our eyes were popped open as we watch in amazement how this French National was winning hearts and minds. People were literally enthralled at how captivating, fun and fierce this workshop leader was.
Edmond and I stroke a friendship and he became a mentor to me. He took me under his wing as we travelled the world on change management assignments. I’ve watched him go from influencing the most hostile board of directors, to sincerely and deeply connecting with front-line leaders. I’ve often told him and others that his combination of high IQ, high EQ and deep humility is something unique I’ve never quite seen in anyone else.
Through his own firm - ORCHANGO, Edmond continues to be a go-to consultant for top executives looking for an unbelievable right-hand man during times of change. He’s also often cited in newspapers as a change management expert.
Little Known Facts: He grew up in France, lived in London and New York before coming to Toronto, where he’s been living for the past 20 years.
Superpowers: Edmond is a devoted Morning Glory Cycling Club competitor by day, and a Top Chef with a killer paella recipe by night.
